Halloween

Once again, the gates to the Realm of Madness have opened, and Kryta’s most infamous monarch, Mad King Thorn, has returned to Lion’s Arch with his court. The king’s loyal vassals are invited to join in the festivities! Meet the citizens of the Realm of Madness at events taking place across Kryta, or tour the realm itself within the Mad King’s Labyrinth and the fearsome Clock Tower. You can also compete against your fellow mortals in the Lunatic Inquisition, Reaper’s Rumble, and Mad King’s Circuit, or indulge the king’s whims in his popular pastime, Mad King Says. Plus, you can pit your wits and swords against royalty in Rise of Madness.

The Captain's Council of Lion's Arch would like to remind its inhabitants that it has no ties to the Krytan monarchy and therefore cannot guarantee the safety of those who choose to venture into dangerous realms, whether they be mad or not.

• The annual Halloween Rituals meta-achievement has been updated with a fancy new reward: the Grim Scratcher Plate. To earn this terrifying new armor piece, complete a variety of Halloween activities. Proudly display your loyalty to the Mad King’s court! If you missed out, you can now purchase last year’s meta-reward, the Grim Scratcher Greaves, from Halloween vendors.
• A new set of candy weapons is now available! You'll receive the weapon of your choice by progressing towards the annual "Halloween Rituals" meta-achievement or the weekly "Halloween Festivities" achievement.
• Ya podéis conseguir el nuevo conjunto de armas de máquina macabra a través de los comerciantes de Halloween semanales.The Grim Machine weapon set is now available from the weekly Halloween vendors.
• Additionally, three new weapons are available in the Court Weapon Chest, which occasionally appears in Halloween Sacks. You can also purchase them from Sparkstone in Lion's Arch.
• A new creepy mini swatter spider has been added to the Halloween vendor catalog.
• Lahar Crafty will be in Lion's Arch during the festival with a variety of crafting recipes to create heirloom versions of your favorite Halloween decorations.
• New Halloween themed decorations have been added:

• • Haunted Doorbell (great for trick-or-treating in your homestead or clan hall)
  • Antique bell (to announce in a less creepy way the arrival of visitors to the estate or clan hall)
  • Standard Gargoyle
  • Flame-Bearing Gargoyle
  • Garrabelica rental stand

• The Witcher's Vault has been updated with special objectives for participating in Halloween activities.
• The Halloween Vendor on Vandal's Trail now offers a much wider assortment of Halloween items, including recipes for decorating estates. Make use of this if you have any candy left over after the gates to the Realm of Madness close for another year!
• Additional progress toward the annual "Racing Freak" achievement is now earned by completing laps within your career's gold medal time limit.
• The visual size of the Mad King's Circuit checkpoints has been increased to match their collision area.
• Many small bugs have been fixed to make the festival more fun than ever for all visitors to the Realm of Madness to enjoy.

The gates to the Kingdom of Madness will be open for three weeks, from October 15 to November 5. Have a happy Halloween!
